The Role
Reporting into the Head of Operations – Gaming, the Operations Manager – Gaming is responsible for the effective execution of Merivale's Group Gaming strategy across all gaming venues. Acting as a key conduit between the Group Gaming Team and venue operations, this role drives gaming performance, supports venue initiatives, and ensures alignment with operational gaming procedures, effective people practices, financial goals, and regulatory compliance.
You will ensure Gaming Service, Operations, and Compliance are routinely monitored by venue teams through tools such as 'walk the floor' and venue health checks.
People are at the forefront of everything do at Merivale so you will execute effective people practices in collaboration with venue teams, including attraction, induction, training, rostering, and internal mobility.
Key to this position will to be ensuring financial reconciliation practices are followed, acting as an escalation point for gaming-related variances from venues to the Group Gaming Team.
