We operate 22 residential aged care villages, 21 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Position Information: RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village has an exciting new opportunity for a Catering Supervisor to join our team. The role offers a dynamic split of responsibilities – three days per week as a Catering Supervisor and two days as a Cook. In this role you will coordinate the catering area at the village to ensure exceptional customer service is delivered to our residents and will also be responsible for making and preparing nutritious and appetising meals for them to enjoy.

About the Role

* Coordinate and manage the catering service to ensure it functions safely, effectively and efficiently, including supervising, training and supporting catering officers within the department.
* Implement food and safety programme in the catering department, ensuring appropriate procedures and processes are adhered to.
* Order catering supplies within an allocated budget.
* Prepare meals and menus for residents in compliance with health and nutritional standards and in consultation with dietician, residents and General Manager.

What you need to be considered

* Qualifications in Commercial Cookery, Safe Food Handling, Hospitality Management (desirable)
* Food Safety Certificate
* Strong leadership skills as a supervisor
* Aged Care Experience (desirable)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current Police Check Certificate
* Understanding of WHS responsibilities including manual handling principles
