Healthy Ageing Kirinari Community Services are excited at the prospect of expanding our services to Hobart.
About the Position
Our Healthy Ageing services deliver quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.
Responsibilities
- Domestic assistance
- Assistance with personal care
- Assisted shopping/ client appointments
- Respite careMeal preparation
- Social support and community engagement
Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (km's travelled between customers also claimable)

Qualifications
- Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm (some weekend and public holidays as required)
- Qualification in Aged care or similar field is essential
- Qualification in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain is highly regarded
- Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work – mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
- Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
- Ability to obtain the WWVP and Police Check prior to commencement
- Current Driver's Licence
- Travel up to 30 minutes
- Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
