Role Overview
* We seek a motivated health professional for the role of Health Specialist in our team.
* This position provides technical expertise in injury prevention, management, fitness for work, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes, including duty plans and documents.
The successful candidate will demonstrate genuine commitment to care, strong communication, and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinates case management with workers' compensation provider, medical, and allied health providers and stakeholders.
* Supports regulatory health surveillance activities, reporting, and delivery of health promotion initiatives.
* Leads observational programs, offering technical guidance underpinned by a culture of care.
* Maintains health enterprise systems, data integrity, and document management.
* Supports site medical services e.g. Paramedics, EAP, Physiotherapy, Appointed Medical Advisers, and Occupational Physicians.
