As a Home Care Worker with UPA you will support our clients to remain independent in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.UPA Home Care helps older people live independently by providing in-home services that meet their individual needs whilst promoting wellness choice and quality of life.

What you bringCertificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or Community Services is highly desiredCurrent Australian Drivers License and willing to travelRegistered and insured vehicleCompassion, empathy and a passion for helping othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamConfidence in using technologyAbout the roleIn this role you'll provide individualised flexible and high-quality care to people in the community helping them maintain their independence and live well in their own homes.
Your person-centred focus and attention to detail will assist us in recognising and responding to client needs as they evolve.
Duties will include but not limited to :Assisting in the provision of individualised care using a person-centred approach as per the client care plan.Provide independence services such as showering medications transport or respite care.Provide everyday living services such as domestic assistance gardening shopping or meal preparation.Prompt and detailed reporting of client services.Recognising and reporting of client risk via our incident management system.Pre-employment screeningThe successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to complete the following :National Criminal History CheckPre-Employment ChecksVaccination in accordance with UPAs Immunisation and Vaccination PolicyAppointment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment screening and confirmation of the applicants right to work in Australia.If you wish to apply please click the Apply Now button and submit your cover letter and resume for consideration.
