This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring effective management and delivery of all Quality and WHS functional aspects.
Responsibilities:
* Establishing end-to-end Quality & WHS frameworks with senior management.
* Delivering and managing control of all Quality activities to ensure business confidence.
* Leading a small team, including oversight of consultants as required to enable Quality Functional SME setup, including WHS.
* Managing and risk assessing our QMS, including our Helicopter Transmission (MRO) Facility & existing AMS operations.
* Conducting Quality/ISO audits & reporting discrepancies to senior management.
Qualifications & Clearances:
A Bachelor's degree or related qualifications within Engineering, Aeronautics, Quality Management. Knowledge of Aeronautics: aerodynamics, flight mechanics, aeronautic construction, aircraft engines, propellers, material fatigue elements, tools, corrosion on aeronautic materials, maintenance practices, on-board equipment and instruments.
Basic knowledge of NDT procedures. Knowledge of Aeronautic Regulation with particular reference to EASA Part 145 / CASA Part 145. ISO 19011 for auditing. Must be an Australian citizen eligible for a Defence Security Clearance. Clean National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain.
Skills & Experience:
>5-10 years of relevant Quality & WHS functional management experience in Aviation (Part 145) & Electronics as it relates to setting up a new regional subsidiary governance environment across Quality and WHS.
Flexible to travel, train & communicate with global counterparts in Europe (Italy). Strong ability and awareness to demonstrate management control across task activity delivery back to a clear Quality & WHS framework and pinpoint risks and priorities.
High attention to detail with good communication, implementation and organisational skills to work across multiple task areas and delegate/deliver within a small team environment.
