Your new role: Within this senior medical position you will provide clinical and administrative leadership in the delivery of medical services and high quality and safe patient care across Wynnum Primary Care Clinic, the Marie Rose Centre on Stradbroke Island and the Redland Satellite Health Centre.
As Director, you will: Contribute to service planning and care integration, working closely with the Director of the Emergency Department at Redland Hospital, Queensland Ambulance Service, the Director of Medical Services and key stakeholders to enhance access to urgent care across Metro South Health.
Provide leadership to a skilled medical workforce supporting the Minor Injury and Illness model of care across Wynnum Primary Care Clinic, the Marie Rose Centre and the Redland Satellite Health Centre Minor Injuries and Illness Centre (MIIC).
Participate in clinical service delivery, including involvement in 24-hour rosters at Wynnum Primary Care Clinic and the Marie Rose Centre as required.
Work collaboratively with the Bayside Health Service Executive and Medical Directors across Metro South to support integrated, high-quality care delivery.
About you: You are an experienced senior medical leader who demonstrates integrity in decision-making, compassion in care delivery, and respectful engagement with patients, staff and stakeholders, while holding yourself and others accountable for quality and safety outcomes.
We are seeking a Director with the following attributes and expereince: Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and management within a busy clinical service, providing effective direction, performance oversight and operational leadership.
Demonstrated capability to deliver contemporary, evidence-based health care to patients within a clinical setting.
Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies and consumer groups.
Demonstrated leadership in service development activities, including quality improvement, risk management, service evaluation, education, training and participation in research.
