IT Professional Wanted for Contract or Ongoing Employment
Bytewize is seeking highly experienced IT professionals to deliver technical support services to the Department of Education through the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP).
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience, including previous experience within the TSSP program, extensive experience in the education sector, or equivalent senior-level corporate IT support experience.
This position involves managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools, administering and supporting school networks and server environments, providing ICT support services in large, technology-driven learning environments, and collaborating with school leadership teams and delivering ICT professional development when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Hyper-V virtualisation administration
* Administration of Windows and Linux-based servers
* Cloud service administration (Google Workspace & Microsoft 365)
* Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment and administration
* Advanced enterprise networking (Cisco & HP switching)
* Cisco wireless technologies (controllers, APs)
* SOE and image deployment, with advanced troubleshooting skills
* Experience supporting large fleets of desktops and notebooks
* Experience with 1:1 and BYOD device planning, deployment, and management
* Strong technical documentation skills
