**About the Opportunity**
We invite you to join Fairfield Hospital as a Social Worker Level 3, where you will deliver expert psychosocial assessments, counselling, and advocacy to enhance patient care. You will operate independently, ensuring adherence to SWSLHD policies and best practice standards while coordinating with other providers for seamless care.

**What You'll be Doing**
This position is responsible for providing specialist Social Work service to consumers and their carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with SWSLHD policies and procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct. The position will also participate in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching, quality activities and other relevant departmental and administrative duties.

Fairfield hospital is located in one of NSW's largest LGA's and is a hub of diverse cultures, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. This brings a range of experiences to hospital employees and provides varied learning and development experiences for all levels of Medical, Clinical, administrative and support roles.

**How to Apply**
- A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Extensive post graduate experience working as a Social Worker in relevant clinical areas, including a demonstrated understanding of the health setting, complex health conditions and the impact on wellbeing.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills (written and verbal), and demonstrated computer skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision and expert advice/consultation to the social work service and the clinical specialty.
