Administration Role

This role provides effective support to enable airport operations at Townsville Airport. The successful candidate will join a professional environment with strong customer focus and excellent organisational skills.

The base ordinary hourly rate of pay for this position is $31.92 excluding superannuation.

We are looking for someone who is proficient with Microsoft Office, can handle mail, word processing, data entry, and maintain up-to-date lists and registers.

This full-time opportunity requires the ability to manage appointments and coordinate meetings and events, including catering, as well as provide administrative support for airport operations.

The ideal candidate will be able to oversee the handling and tracking of lost property, ensuring items are logged, stored securely, and appropriately actioned.

Key Responsibilities

* Administration: handle mail, word processing, data entry, and maintain up-to-date lists and registers.
* Manage appointments and coordinate meetings and events, including catering.
* Provide administrative support for airport operations, such as visitor passes and car parking, ensuring smooth coordination and documentation.
* Oversee the handling and tracking of lost property, ensuring items are logged, stored securely, and appropriately actioned.


Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
