Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Bookkeeping & Payroll Officer to join a fast-paced and high-performing real estate environment based in Fortitude Valley.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing complex payroll, supporting multiple stakeholders, and being a trusted financial partner within the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide end-to-end bookkeeping support for high-performing sales teams
* Manage payroll across multiple offices, including salaries and commission calculations
* Process quarterly bonuses, payroll tax submissions, and superannuation payments
* Raise commission invoices and reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
* Process bill payments and prepare quarter-end reporting for external accountants
* Liaise with internal contracts teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Collaborate closely with office managers, employees, and business owners
* Support lead agent teams with financial and administrative tasks
* Provide ad hoc administrative support as required
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in complex payroll processing or bookkeeping
* Experience using Employment Hero and Xero (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive problem-solver with a flexible and adaptable approach
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
