**THE ROLE**
The Loddon area is responsible for providing integrated departmental services to achieve positive client outcomes at the local level. We drive a holistic approach to meeting client need that is strongly supported by a client-centric culture. In Loddon we develop and foster strategic partnerships with the communities they serve, and with external service providers, local businesses, and other government agencies to ensure that local issues are understood, prioritised and addressed
The Executive Assistant provides executive management support to the Executive Director, Loddon Area and provides a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government, private, public and community service sectors.
The Executive Assistant is a key coordinating link between the Executive Director Loddon Area, the division/group, government, Members of Parliament, ministers' offices and senior departmental management and works closely with staff in the Deputy Secretary's Office.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide a range of effective executive support functions, including: accurately managing the Director Loddon Area incoming correspondence, critical incident reports, diary, events, travel, accommodation and support for Deputy Secretary, staff, committees, working groups and meetings.
- Arrange meetings and conferences, including liaison with senior executives and government officials coordinating papers, organising venues, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions and making travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Coordinate the day-to-day Directorate processes and functions of the Director, Loddon Area, for example, human resources, purchasing, cab charges and processing of accounts.
