Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, we are seeking an experienced and motivated senior counter salesperson to join the team at the Tingalpa Branch, QLD.
Responsibilities
* Assist with customer enquiries face to face and over the phone
* Counter sales including customer development
* Follow up and providing notification of outstanding orders
* Maintain a professional store presentation
* Assist with receipt and dispatch of products
* Pick, pack and delivery of orders to customers
* Stock management including purchasing / inventory management
* Raise quotations and quotation follow-up
* Comply with company & customer QHSE standards & policies
* Contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
* Competent PC skills
* Professional personal presentation
* Customer service experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Willing to learn new skills
* Electrical wholesale industry experience preferred
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks
* Availability to work some overtime
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential
* Pre‐employment medical, drug & alcohol screening and National Criminal History Check
