Project Specialist
The Snowy 2.0 project is a large pumped hydro scheme in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, designed and constructed by a joint venture of experienced engineering companies.
This iconic project will deliver on-demand energy and large-scale storage for generations to come.
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for all onsite technical matters, scheduling, monitoring, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.
You will assist in coordinating efficient operation of a multi-discipline workforce, ensuring compliance with design, safety, quality, community, environmental, and sustainability related deliverables and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop construction methodologies, programs, and SWMS for given packages
* Lead the delivery of excavation, ground support, and FRP works
* Oversee the development and implementation of construction methods onsite
* Monitor productivity and cost
* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and key project personnel
* Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities
* Prepare and schedule engineering projects
* Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in civil or mining engineering
* White Card
* Driver's License
* Minimum 5-years' experience in the Civil Construction industry
* Advanced MS Office skills
* Competence in interpreting and explaining technical schedules and documentation
