Sales & Production Manager – Fertiliser (Horticulture Focus)

About the Role
We are seeking a Sales & Production Manager – Fertiliser with a strong background in horticulture to join our team. This role is based in the eastern states of Australia, a region seeing significant growth in irrigation and investment across vegetable crops, orchards, vineyards, and broadacre agriculture.
You will work closely with growers, providing agronomic advice and promoting our fertiliser and soil conditioner range. Training will be provided to support your development and success in this role.
Note for overseas candidates: Applicants must be willing to relocate to Australia, either temporarily or permanently.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Agronomy
- Provide agronomy advice and fertiliser recommendations to growers
- Serve clients in viticulture, horticulture, fruit crops, pastures, and broadacre farming
- Assist in identifying pest and weed issues and recommend suitable solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver customised solutions aligned with client goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and industry stakeholders
Production Management
- Plan and source neem seed and karanja raw materials for fertiliser production
- Calibrate production equipment to ensure consistent quality
- Test each production batch for quality assurance
- Manage packing and timely distribution of fertilisers to support field application schedules
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Agriculture or relevant industry experience
- Solid understanding of horticulture and viticulture (viticulture experience highly regarded)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license required
