About your new role
The Business Improvement Capability Lead provides internal consultancy, expertise, and training in Business Improvement. The role focuses on maintaining minimum standards and achieving target performance.
Responsibilities include:
1. Owning Business Improvement standards and methods, ensuring processes and templates are maintained in line with industry best practice.
2. Mentoring, coaching, and providing formal training for Business Improvement staff, key stakeholders, and other staff seeking to utilize Business Improvement techniques.
3. Conducting Business Improvement inductions (covering purpose, roles, processes, etc.).
4. Developing case-study material and providing feedback to the Business Improvement Centre of Excellence (CoE).
5. Acting as method specialist and expert in Business Improvement, offering help, advice, and guidance on tailoring techniques.
6. Providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring on Business Improvement tools.
7. Keeping abreast of and evaluating the effectiveness of new Business Improvement tools and techniques.
We're looking for people who have:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project/Program Management, or similar, or equivalent industry experience.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business improvement, delivering large-scale or transformational initiatives.
* Formal qualifications in at least one of the following (multiple qualifications are highly desirable):
* Six Sigma Yellow Belt or above or equivalent.
* Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA) or above or equivalent.
* PROSCI or Change Management Practitioner or above or equivalent.
Driver Licence Class C unrestricted.
