About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team at the new Clifford Gardens Salvos Stores opening in Toowoomba. The Store Manager will drive sales, inspire the team, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience, while helping raise vital funds to support Australians in need.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Toowoomba, QLD, reporting to the Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead store operations and achieve sales and surplus targets.
2. Manage stock flow, pricing, and visual merchandising according to Salvos Stores' standards and values.
3. Inspire, train, and develop a passionate team of employees and volunteers.
4. Maintain budgets, manage rosters, and control wage costs for efficient store operation.
5. Build strong community connections with local groups and partners.
About You
1. Retail management experience (essential).
2. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (essential).
3. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire and engage people.
4. Ability to work within budgets and manage operational priorities.
5. Experience with Workday HCM system (highly regarded).
