Job Overview
As a skilled Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality heavy lifting services to leading mining and resources companies. The opportunity exists for a practical and experienced Engineer with expertise in civil/structural or mechanical engineering.
The Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive lift plans, conducting site meetings and inspections as required.
* Provide transportation engineering services, including combination planning, load restraint, stability calculations, and swept path analysis.
* Conduct route surveys, measuring, scanning, and reporting on project progress.
* Utilize experience with heavy lifting and transport equipment, preferably with knowledge of modular transport systems.
Requirements for Success
* A strong background in the heavy lift industry with relevant qualifications in Engineering.
* Extensive knowledge and experience with a wide range of heavy lift cranes and specialist transport equipment.
* Proven ability to produce industry-standard heavy lift, transport, and swept path studies and procedures.
* A degree in B.E. Civil/Structural or Mechanical (RPEQ or equivalent).
* Experience with Autodesk software, strong project management skills, and effective communication.
Preferred Qualifications
* Heavy lifting and transport experience.
