We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator to work with a road works construction team. This work will be based on a job site at Griffith, but working with a team attached to a depot at Hay.

Accommodation can be provided for applicants who are based away from the work location of Griffith.
Plant being operated will vary and includes loader; rollers - multi-tyre, padfoot, smooth drum. An understanding of construction earthworks will be required.
You must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required work tasks.
You will be working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hours over a 9 day fortnight) for an initial engagement period of 2 months with potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.
This role will involve regular travel - applicants must be able to stay away for a week at a time (accommodation supplied and applicable allowances paid).
An immediate start of work is available.
Successful Applicants will need;
* Plant Operating experience - rollers, loader etc
* current WHS White Card - essential
* Driver licence - car licence essential, MR truck licence or above preferred
* Traffic control ticket/s - or willingness to obtain
* Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
* good all round fitness for manual work tasks
* previous experience with road construction or construction earthworks will be highly regarded
Applicants will need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player.
