Senior Accountant – Assets
Lead Asset Accounting.
This is a leadership role with hands-on responsibilities, mentoring your team, collaborating across divisions and partnering with external stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of Council's asset management plans and long-term financial sustainability.
* Manage the Asset Accounting team, fostering a positive culture.
* Oversee asset accounting processes including data integrity, reporting, revaluations and compliance.
* Provide expert advice on accounting standards and asset policies.
* Collaborate with internal teams to integrate asset accounting with asset management and project budgeting.
* Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and reporting.
* Contribute to major finance projects such as annual financial statements and strategic planning.
