Our client, a growing mining operation in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Inbound & Outbound Logistics Principal. You will play a critical role in ensuring the operation works effectively with its business partners to optimise inbound supply reliability and establish a robust outbound logistics and warehousing model. This is a unique opportunity to design, build and optimise a full mine-to-port-to-customer logistics ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Outbound Sales & Product Logistics Manage execution of sales agreements, ensuring contractual compliance and delivery commitments are met Coordinate outbound logistics from mine site including: Transport scheduling Inventory management including monitoring product quality vs contractual commitments Storage strategy within bonded warehouse facilities Customer delivery coordination Establish and implement the full outbound logistics framework ahead of first production Work closely with commercial teams to optimise freight, storage, and distribution costs Monitor price realisation, contract terms, and operational delivery performance Inbound Logistics Manage inbound supply to site, including forecasting, ordering, monitoring, and supply continuity Coordinate inbound transport and storage arrangements Ensure supply reliability aligned to processing plant production requirements Develop and optimise supplier and transport contracts Introduce fleet optimisation and transport efficiency initiatives Commercial & Commodity Interface Partner with key customers to manage sales performance and contract execution Support pricing, commercial negotiation input, and logistics cost modelling Identify opportunities for working capital optimisation and value creation Align logistics execution with sales strategy and production forecasts Systems, Planning & Integration Support ERP and logistics system integration where required. Develop reporting dashboards and visibility tools for product flow and supply risk. About You Strong background in commodity trading, mining sales, or metals marketing Demonstrated experience managing inbound and outbound bulk commodity logistics Experience in mine-to-port logistics and shipment execution Strong commercial acumen including contract interpretation and margin optimisation Experience managing bonded warehousing, port operations or export logistics highly desirable Exposure reagents or mining consumables supply chains advantageous Proven stakeholder management capability across operations, commercial and customers.
