What’s the role?
We are looking for an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join the well-established Qube team at Thunderbox Northern Goldfields.
The primary role of the Diesel Mechanic is to undertake fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently.
A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure and independently.

- Full-time FIFO positions from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide.
- 2-on/1-off roster working 1 week of day shift, 1 week of night shift and 1 week off.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- Suitable Trade Qualification or Certification.
- Must have minimum 1 years’ qualified industry experience.
With prior experience in ports, heavy transport or mining environments
- Demonstrated working experience with heavy vehicles & heavy machinery (Kenworth, Volvo & Mack Prime Movers, side-tippers, bowl tippers, belly dumpers, Cats, Cummins etc.)
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity) – or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- Strong analytical thinker with an ability to make concise and compelling decisions
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
- Have a positive attitude
