**About the Opportunity**
This is a newly created role to assist with the strategic plan for a growing Not-For-Profit organisation in the Disability Services industry. They have a strong reputation in their industry and this role reports directly into the Commercial Finance Manager with an indirect line to the CFO to perform analysis on the fleet function and make strategic recommendations to improve the overall productivity of the area. This role will have 1 direct report.
**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:
- Leading the implementation of fleet strategic projects to reduce overall fleet size and improves billing efficiency for Operations.
- Reporting analysis of current leases or lease extensions and use financial data to demonstrate impact for financial gain
- Partner with the FP&A team to prepare, manage and monitor budgets.
- Coordinates with internal & external stakeholders, providing timely monthly updates for employee FBT changes.
- Provides expertise and advice for managers requiring vehicle modifications and ensures that all necessary processes are followed.
- Daily review of senior queries in fleet mailbox, assisted by Fleet Administrator.
- Manages administrative processes and build strategic knowledge required to manage and maintain fleet of vehicles, including vehicle sourcing, acquisition & replacement processes.
- Data steward for fleet information, supervising both financial and non-financial information is kept accurate and up to date, including Lease Accelerator.
**The successful applicant**:
- Previous experience in a Fleet Management role where you are looking after a larger number of vehicles (in the hundreds)
- Highly organised and outcome focused
- Proactive and autonomous problem solver.
- Good communication skills and moderate business acumen to make key commercial decisions
- Knowledge of telematics and fleet insight software essential.
- A customer centric approach, responsive to ad-hoc requests
