This role involves direct sales and delivery of food products across Food Service, Retail (Non-Ethnic), and Supermarket channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for order taking, stock delivery, and new customer acquisition across Hobart, Launceston, and Devonport.
Location: Hobart, with runs to Launceston & Devonport. perfect for balancing lifestyle, family, or other work.
Work Schedule
- 3 days per week
- Flexible start times depending on delivery runs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit restaurants, retail stores, and supermarkets to sell & deliver popular food products.
- Drive a company van – pick up stock from our warehouse and deliver directly to customers.
- Grow your earnings by onboarding recent customers and building lasting relationships.
- Keep simple records of orders, deliveries, and feedback.
- Be the face of our brand in Tasmania!
- Identify and onboard new customers to expand the client base.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and customer interactions.
- Ensure timely and professional service delivery.
- Report market trends and customer feedback to the sales manager.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a delivery own van.
- Prior experience in FMCG sales, especially in food service or retail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of stock.
- Familiarity with the Tasmania region (Hobart, Launceston, Devonport) .
