About the RoleWe’re on the hunt for a commercially-minded Performance Director to lead our Paid Media function across Search, Social, and Programmatic. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and client service. You’ll lead a team of channel specialists, craft performance marketing strategies that drive ROI, and serve as the performance lead on key accounts. You'll be hands-on with platform strategy and execution, while also mentoring talent, influencing agency best practices, and partnering closely with creative, data, and client teams to deliver integrated, high-impact results.Strategic Leadership & Channel ExcellenceDefine and implement best-in-class performance strategies across Google, Meta, and Programmatic platforms.Lead campaign structure, audience segmentation, smart bidding, and creative testing across SA360, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, etc.Drive continuous improvement through performance audits, testing frameworks, and platform innovations (Performance Max, Advantage+ Shopping, CTV).Partner with data/analytics teams to optimise tracking, measurement, and reporting workflows.Client Growth & Commercial PerformanceAct as the senior media lead for priority clients—owning strategy, execution, and outcomes.Identify growth opportunities within accounts and collaborate on cross-sell/upsell initiatives.Build integrated media plans aligned with client budgets, targets, and seasonal trends.Monitor commercial performance and ensure accurate scoping, delivery, and profitability.Lead a growing team of Paid Media Specialists and ensure top-tier campaign delivery.Drive platform training, capability development, and continuous learning across your team.Promote strong cross-functional collaboration between media, creative, tech, and account teams.Champion operational excellence through QA, governance, and platform compliance.Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic platforms (DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP).Experience building full-funnel media strategies and aligning creative with channel strategy.Strong understanding of attribution, incrementality testing, and marketing mix modelling.Analytical mindset—fluent in GA4, Looker Studio, and automated bidding/optimisation platforms.
