**Waratah Clinic - RMH Older Adult Mental Health Program (Inner West Area Mental Health)**
- Part time 0.8 EFT permanent position.
- Seeking a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist for a community based role in the specialised field of Older Adult Mental Health.

**Your new role**:
- Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment formulation within the Older Adult Mental Health Program, in consultation with the Consultant Psychiatrist, clinical and medical team
- Develop and implement comprehensive recovery and treatment plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers
- Deliver evidence based treatment and interventions that support older adults with complex mental health and ageing related needs, and their families and carers
- Communicate effectively with consumers, families, carers, colleagues and other service providers
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate and deliver intensive clinical intervention and treatment to consumers in the community i.e. mental status examination, risk and safety management, medication observation and support, crisis support and management of acute deterioration.
**About you**:
- You have experience as a mental health clinician in either a community or inpatient setting, delivering evidence based mental health treatment and interventions
- Experience working with older adults, knowledge of the issues faced by older adults with a mental illness and a keen interest in this area
- You have well developed communication skills
- You are committed to undertake professional development related to the role
- You are able to work a rotating roster
