The Supervisor Support Team Lead provides direct operational support to Supervisors managing complex claims. This role ensures jobs progress smoothly through the repair cycle, with consistent client and customer communication, timely portal updates, and operational continuity when Supervisors are on site.
You will act as a safeguard on escalated or sensitive jobs, maintaining high standards of compliance, customer service, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting daily check-ins with Supervisors to review job progress, identify risks, and confirm next steps.
* Monitoring job milestones to ensure timeliness and compliance with insurer/client requirements.
* Supporting Supervisors with administrative tasks such as updating client portals, uploading documents, and maintaining accurate records.
* Raising and tracking purchase orders to maintain workflow continuity.
* Maintaining proactive contact with customers and providing timely updates to insurers/clients.
* Managing sensitive or escalated cases with care and professionalism.
* Tracking and managing job progress across large-loss or high-volume portfolios.
* Ensuring compliance with contractual KPIs and service levels.
* Collaborating with Supervisors, trades, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve blockers and keep jobs moving.
* Stepping in during Supervisor absence to maintain continuity on communication and system updates.
What You Will Need:
* Insurance claims management background highly preferred, or strong experience in large-loss claims or construction project coordination.
* Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive claims with empathy, resilience, and professionalism.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in insurer/client portals, workflow systems, and purchase order management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both clients and customers.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and maintain compliance.
* Confidence and experience to support Supervisors on complex and high-value repair claims.
