Aged Care Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Aged Care Support Worker.
* Delivering Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity.
* Supporting Well-being: Encourage physical and emotional well-being through conversation, activities, and companionship.
* Facilitating Independence: Drive assistance, transportation, and outings to enhance client autonomy.
Main Responsibilities:
* Personal care and hygiene support
* Cleaning and household maintenance
* Meal preparation and light gardening
* Companionship and activity engagement
* Transportation and outings
Requirements:
* Experienced support worker with passion for delivering exceptional care
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability (transcripts required)
* Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
* Comfortable traveling up to 45-60 minutes
* Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (highly desirable)
* Ideal availability weekdays, with alternating weekend availability highly desirable
* Minimum 20-30 hours per fortnight
* Flexible shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
* Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and provide proof of work rights in Australia
