About the role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with a strong hard services background to join our team in a full-time capacity based in Sydney.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of sites across various clients while overseeing contractors to ensure services are delivered on time and within budget. This is a primarily office-based position; however, you will be required to visit client sites regularly and may be required to work on-site at client locations if required.
Your key tasks will include:
* Allocation of work orders in our work order management system.
* Prioritising work orders when they come through the work order management system.
* Managing work order priorities.
* Provide on-call emergency support as required.
* Oversight of contractor performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
* At times, you may be asked to visit client sites to ensure that the works have been completed as per contractual obligations.
This role requires participation in an on-call roster (1 in 5-week rotation), which will include after-hours and weekend work. You will receive an on-call allowance during your week on. Interstate travel may be a requirement of this role.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in Facilities Management with a hard services focus.
* Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
* Strong contractor management skills with a focus on compliance, quality, and cost.
* Current Australian Police Check is mandatory; candidates must be eligible to obtain a Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check in accordance with relevant state legislation.
* The ability to travel interstate is essential, as this role may require periodic travel to support clients and projects across Australia.
