Role: Therapeutic Youth Worker Employment Type: Casual Location: Dubbo As a Therapeutic Youth Worker within our Intensive Therapeutic Care, you’ll be a key support for children & young people aged 12 to 17 years who’ve experienced childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect. You will be part of a dedicated to team working to ensuring a safe, homelike environment where these young people can thrive, supporting them to learn independent life skills, develop problem solving skills and to build appropriate and positive relationships with others. Our residential homes operate 24/7, therefore successful applicants will need to be able and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon, overnight and weekend shifts. (Please note: a qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience) A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate A current driver’s licence Willingness to assist with activities of daily living, including personal care (if required).
