Systems Engineer (L3)

The Role
Full end-to-end management and support of all core infrastructure across the APAC region. This includes, but is not limited to: VMWare ESX, SAN, Servers, firewalls, and SD-WAN networks Microsoft Active Directory, AAD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and all associated objects Microsoft 365, Exchange, Office 365, VOIP, SCCM Backups, Disaster Recovery Network health, hardware, and Security
Perform Operating System, file system and storage system housekeeping as well as system health checks.
Apply fix-packs and hotfixes, providing support where required.
Participate actively in all and Major Incident reviews and assist in any Level 2 service tickets including: Actively supporting and participating in Level 1 & 2 meetings, Teams chats, and general discussions.
Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination across the IT environment as required.
Maintain technical documentation and service catalogue on the installation of software, the configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.
Maintain ongoing compliance with all IT policies and procedures (e.g. Cyber Security, Data Management, Change Management etc.)
Experience
Australian PR or Citizenship only
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
At least 4 years' experience in systems administration (experience in training Juniors)
BA in IT, Computer Science or similar relevant field or relevant experience
ITIL Foundation Certified preferred
SSL certificate management & PKI Management
PowerShell scripting
VMware administration
Experience with Microsoft-based desktop, server, and Office suite
Experience with Hybrid Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments
Hands-on experience with diagnosing and resolving technical issues
