Support Care Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Care Worker to provide person-centred care and assistance with daily living activities in the Northern Rivers region.
About the Role:
This rewarding role involves supporting clients to live independently by providing care and assistance with personal activities, domestic tasks, social support, and transportation. Responsibilities include:
* Personal Care: Assist clients with showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts.
* Domestic Assistance: Provide light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation services.
* Social Support/Transportation: Accompany clients to social activities, shopping/groceries, medical appointments, and other outings.
* Aid and Equipment: Assist clients with the use of aids and equipment such as standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, and hearing aids.
* Complex Needs: Support clients with complex and challenging needs, including monitoring their well-being and reporting progress.
Key requirements for this role include:
* Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent qualification.
* Australian Federal Police Clearance.
* Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required).
* Smartphone with internet access.
