R&V Maintenance Solutions seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Installation Specialist to join their team in Kalgoorlie.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and laying tiles with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes across floors and walls.
Key Responsibilities
* Measure areas for tiling and determine stock requirements
* Cut, shape, and polish tiles using appropriate tools
* Prepare, clean, and level surfaces before installation
* Apply waterproofing according to Australian Standards
* Mix and apply adhesives, mortar, and grout
* Lay tiles accurately, ensuring straight lines and clean edges
* Create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
* Remove and replace damaged tiles
* Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
Requirements and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent) or minimum 3 years of relevant experience
* Ability to work with ceramic, marble, and granite
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Knowledge of waterproofing and Australian Standards
* Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks
