CAMHS Country Northern - RN3 Nurse Consultant (Senior nurse in team)Job no: 898268Work type: Full timeLocation: Country SA - Location negotiableCategories: Nursing/MidwiferyWomen's and Children's Health Network, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Port Pirie (5540) or Kadina or Pt Augusta.SalaryClassification - RN/M3 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 3 - $125,183.00 to $130,779.00+ Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsFull time - Ongoing PermanentAbout the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS team as a Nurse Consultant, where you will be responsible for:Providing clinical nursing/midwifery expertise for individual patients, clients, groups, or populationsDelivering clinical leadership within a specified area of practice (mental health)Exercising autonomy and decision-making in clinical practiceCoordinating and leading team clinical activities and programs to improve patient, client, and service outcomesProviding mental health nursing care in various clinical settingsAddressing inconsistencies between practice and policyLeading and coordinating patient/client care delivery within a defined ward, unit, service, or programEnsuring continuity, quality, and efficiency of patient/client care and flowAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.Demonstrated competence in delivering proficient and comprehensive mental health nursing assessment and direct clinical services to children, young people and their families experiencing complex, acute or chronic mental illness/ trauma or a wide range of emotional and behavioural disturbance.Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelinesWhat WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
