Woodcrest's clear vision, ‘Inspiring Students' and values of ‘Respect, Responsibility and Resilience' commit the school to achieve the best outcomes for each student.About The RoleThe Business Manager, Facilities is responsible for providing support to the Executive Business Manager with an emphasis facilities management. The position directly supervises the facilities and cleaning teams within the College. Liaising with facilities stakeholders including but not limited to, contractors, regional teams and outside community members. The role monitors and reviews day to day facilities activities of the College to ensure compliance with legislation and audit requirements.Responsibilities IncludeLead the daily operations of facility management for the college including the security safety grounds and hire of school fleet, venues and grounds.Lead the compliance requirements of facilities management within the College.Lead and develop the school operational teams, schools' officers and school cleaners to ensure a positive work in environment.Provide leadership in the development and implementation of strategic and operational health and safety and wellbeing systems, activities and programs to effectively manage Workplace Health and Safety for the College community.Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing committee member assisting with maintaining MYHR and reviewing incident reports along with liaising with RTWCC regarding cleaners and schools' officers GRTW hours and program modifications.Supporting Principal and Executive Business Manager regarding Facilities and Procurement.Human Resource advice and support for cleaners and schools' officers, identifying and organising workforce capability requirements and role models/mentors for new staff, and reception rotation.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
