Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team as a dedicated member in a newly built accommodation. This purpose-built service caters to individuals with complex needs, providing a supportive environment that promotes choice, independence, and overall wellbeing.
* This is a full-time position requiring 24 hours of work per day, including 2:1 staffing during the day and overnight support which may involve sleepovers or smart technology.
* Shift patterns typically consist of 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 7am.
The people we support enjoy engaging in various activities such as walking, cycling, arts and crafts, social events, cooking, and community outings. They also value time spent with family and friends, participating in leisure activities like playing pool, puzzles, and tabletop games. Regularly, they like to venture out into the community, visiting local establishments, gyms, swimming pools, pubs, restaurants, and clubs.
You will need experience working with adults who have learning disabilities and complex needs. Our ideal candidate should be flexible, reliable, and motivated, with a strong background in complex needs. If you don't possess a relevant qualification, you must have substantial experience in social care.
