Project Lead / Project Manager – Gold Coast

Our client, a market-leading luxury property developer, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to oversee upcoming remodelling works and future development projects across its premium Gold Coast assets.
This is a rare opportunity to work in-house with a respected developer, delivering projects that set new benchmarks in luxury living.
You'll play a vital role in managing construction workflows, navigating development approvals, and ensuring every detail reflects the property's high-end positioning.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of building upgrades and interior fit-outs.
Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and engineers to drive outcomes.
Oversee timelines, budgets, and risk management across active worksites.
Liaise with local council and manage development approval processes (DA).
Prepare scopes of work, technical documents, and compliance reports.
Provide regular status updates to senior leadership on all active and pipeline projects.
Support longer-term development strategy across a wider property portfolio.
Maintain safety and quality standards across all project activities.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within construction, development, or engineering.
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field.
Familiar with QLD building codes, project compliance, and local DA processes.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proactive and highly organised, with a clear focus on premium outcomes.
Mandarin language skills highly regarded but not essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Some experience in estimation and variations
Conducting site inspections
No programming required, just efficient oversight of projects
Collaborating with a team of like-minded professional landscapers
Requirements
What You'll Need to Succeed
Certificate III in Landscape Construction
Queensland driver's license (manual)
White Card certification
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills
Proficiency in using Apple software would be strong advantage
5+ years' experience in the landscape industry preferred

Handling site inspections, variations, and client communications
Working closely with experienced crews—no programming required

Proven experience in landscape or construction project management
Strong communication and organisational skills
Excellent computer skills (we use Mac)
Familiarity with variations, estimations, and on-site inspections
