Women's and Children's Health Network, Women’s and Babies Division, Kaurna Land, North Adelaide 5006 Salary Classification - RN/M1 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 1 - $74,831.00 to $102,103.00 Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Part Time – Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Women’s and Babies team as Registered Nurse/Midwife - Digital Information Service, where you will be responsible for: Supporting the collection, review, and validation of high-quality midwifery, neonatal, and clinical data to ensure accurate patient outcomes and compliance with legislative requirements. Collaborating with Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers and Digital Information Systems teams to maintain and enhance electronic medical records (EMR) integrity and reporting processes. Providing clinical assessment and coordinate patient care services, ensuring continuity, consistency, and adherence to professional standards. Mentoring and guiding less experienced staff and students, fostering a supportive learning environment and promoting best practices in nursing and midwifery care. Participating in quality improvement, health promotion, and research activities to enhance patient safety, service delivery, and positive health outcomes. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Registered or eligible for registration as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate. Proficient in Sunrise EMR and Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and Internet Explorer. Strong communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload while being creative, flexible, and innovative in a healthcare setting. Proven competence in nursing or midwifery practice consistent with professional standards. Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation, ethical standards, quality improvement systems, and the role of Registered Nurses/Midwives in healthcare environments.
