Precedents Technician - Document Automation Specialist
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Practice Quality & Risk team as a Precedents Technician - Document Automation Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver drafting and document production efficiencies.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in document automation and precedents administration. Your advanced working knowledge of MS Word and experience in creating, updating, and maintaining templates, forms, clause libraries, and precedents will be essential in this role.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities. You will also possess a genuine interest in process improvement and document automation, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
In this role, you will be responsible for automating precedents using our document assembly tools, maintaining the Word ribbon, and developing Word templates and tools in consultation with our IT team and external providers. You will also work closely with our IT team to integrate automated precedents with workflow and related systems.
You will contribute to the development and maintenance of our team's policies and procedures, delivering training in relation to precedents, document templates, firm styles, and document production and editing tools, and providing responsive helpdesk support for users.
