Geriatrician Role Overview
As a Geriatrician at Sydney Children's Hospital Network, you will deliver high-quality patient-centered care to achieve quality patient outcomes. This involves engaging in practices that promote the best possible health outcomes for patients and support a culture of patient safety, clinical quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and teaching by undertaking supervision and education within the clinical environment of junior medical staff and other staff to foster safe clinical practice.
* Actively promote and participate in patient safety, risk management, and ongoing quality improvement programs to improve organizational processes and own practices.
* Maintain up-to-date college mandated requirements and demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer. Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.
