Allen + Shariff is seeking a mid to senior-level electrical designer to join our team. Salary is $90K - $150K, depending on experience and certification.
Responsibilities
* Perform full design of lighting, power, and fire alarm systems, including full equipment selection, for small to medium commercial projects.
* Analyze system options and evaluate existing systems where appropriate.
* Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within A+S and externally with clients.
* Complete full design in accordance with code. Production is performed using Revit and AutoCAD depending on preference of architect.
* Write specifications.
* Provide bid and construction phase services including reviewing bids, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, participating in project walk-throughs, and providing field observation reports.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical focus.
* At least 8 years of relevant experience.
* PE (or ability to get PE) preferred.
* AutoCAD required, Revit preferred.
