North West Hospital and Health Service (HHS) offers unique locations and friendly communities in regional, rural and remote areas with incentives.Working with us: for 1 year you will receive an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. 
If you stay for 2 years you will receive AUD$10,500, and for your 3rd year (and every year after that) you will receive AUD$7,000. 
In your downtime, we provide 2 return airfares per year (including spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with recreation leave; 5 weeks of recreation leave per year with a 17.5% loading/bonus.Base salary ranges between $107,960 and $115,904 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1), 12.75% employer superannuation, Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual, and tax savings through salary sacrificing options are available. 
Plus 2 weeks per year travel as required and enrolment and conference costs for approved courses and conferences. 
Staff accommodation (if eligible) or a private rental subsidy of AUD$82.50 per week for up to 17 months is provided.The lifestyle in Mount Isa is family friendly and offers a vibrant outback community feel with opportunities to make a real difference in the North West Queensland region.The Traditional Owners of the area are the Kalkadoon people.Role and ResponsibilitiesAbout The Role The Homeless Health Outreach Team (HHOT) provides support to individuals with mental health diagnoses who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless within the North West HHS region. 
The service adopts an assertive outreach approach to deliver thorough assessments, coordination, and clinical interventions tailored for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.Demonstrate a high level of clinical critical thinking and problem-solving skills, applying theory into nursing practice in the provision of best practice.RequirementsMandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.A period of 6 months' probation may apply.Interested?
