We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator to work with a road works construction team. This roll will require frequent travel across the south west region of NSW. Accommodation is provided and applicable allowances paid for out-of-pocket expenses.
Plant being operated will vary and includes excavator, mixer, loader, and rollers - multi-tyre, padfoot, smooth drum. An understanding of construction earthworks will be required.
A current unrestricted driver licence is require, with MR or above advantageous.
In addition to truck driving duties, you must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required work tasks.
You will be working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hours over a 9 day fortnight) for an initial engagement period until 30 June 2026 with potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.
An immediate start of work is available.
Successful Applicants will need;
current WHS White Card - essential
Traffic control ticket/s - or willingness to obtain within first 2 months of employment
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
good all round fitness for manual work tasks
previous experience with road construction or construction earthworks will be highly regarded
Applicantswill need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player.
