Job Title: Area Manager

We are seeking experienced and motivated leaders to join our team as Area Managers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of associates, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and driving business results.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in operations, supply chain/logistics or a related field, with experience in managing sizable teams. They will be able to motivate and inspire others, build strong relationships, and drive business growth through process improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of Amazon associates to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality* Maintain Health and Safety standards within your remit area, while promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site* Develop performance goals and objectives to meet business objectives* Collaborate with support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives* Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards* Review work forecasts and determine requirements to produce during the day to meet overall building objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3+ years working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field* Proven experience in managing sizable teams; natural at motivating others around you and building strong relationships* Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities: conducting and driving Dive Deep analysis on complex processes* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written* Availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and part weekends
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Direct management experience for employees and their performance* Experience with performance metrics and process improvement* Flexible to work weekends and/or shifts regularly* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification
