Key responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and management of the childcare centre, including overseeing day-to-day operations, staff management, and business planning
* Ensure the centre maintains high standards of care, education, and safety for all children
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote the holistic development of children
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive centre culture that supports the wellbeing of staff and families
* Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant childcare legislation and regulations
* Manage the centre's budget and financial performance to ensure long-term sustainability
* Represent the centre in the local community and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the childcare industry
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
* Strong understanding of early childhood development, pedagogy, and best practices in childcare
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and stakeholders
* Proven track record in financial management, budget planning, and business operations
* Thorough knowledge of childcare regulations, policies, and compliance requirements
