About the Role
We are recruiting for a senior Cyber Risk & Infrastructure Manager to provide strategic leadership across information security, cyber risk, infrastructure security and technology audit within a highly regulated, critical infrastructure environment.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for establishing and maturing cyber risk and audit capability, shaping enterprise security strategy, and ensuring compliance with stringent aviation and critical infrastructure regulatory frameworks.
You will partner closely with executive leadership, technology teams, operations and external regulators to protect mission-critical systems while enabling secure, resilient and modern digital services.
Key Responsibilities
Cyber Security & Infrastructure Leadership
Lead and mature enterprise cyber risk, infrastructure security and audit practicesDefine and implement enterprise-wide security strategy, policies and architectureOversee security across IT and OT environments including networks, cloud, endpoints and data centresEstablish monitoring, reporting and assurance frameworks
Regulatory & Critical Infrastructure Compliance
Ensure compliance with aviation security, transport security and critical infrastructure legislationMaintain alignment with SOCI, CIRMP and national cyber security frameworksLead regulatory audits, inspections and assurance activitiesOversee incident reporting to relevant government authorities
Risk, Resilience & Incident Management
Own the cyber risk register and risk treatment plansLead vulnerability management, penetration testing and threat modellingOversee SOC operations, SIEM tooling and threat intelligenceDrive disaster recovery, business continuity and resilience planning
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Engage with senior executives, government agencies and industry bodiesManage strategic security vendors and third-party cyber riskTranslate complex technical and regulatory risks into clear business impacts
People & Financial Leadership
Lead and develop a high-performing cyber security teamBuild capability across emerging domains including OT and cloud securityManage security budgets and optimise investment decisions
About You
8+ years’ experience leading cyber security and risk functions in complex organisations5+ years’ experience managing IT/OT infrastructure securityStrong knowledge of critical infrastructure and regulated environmentsDeep experience with ISO 27001, NIST, ASD Essential EightProven capability in executive engagement and Board-level reportingStrong leadership, decision-making and change management skills
Qualifications & Certifications
Degree in Cyber Security, IT or related disciplineCISSP (mandatory)Highly regarded: CISM, CISA, CCSP or equivalent
