We put our clients at the centre of everything we do, and we’re looking for caring and motivated Home Care Employees to join our team in Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Pottsville and surrounds.
The Role:
UPA Home Care Employees assist older people to live independently in their own homes by providing in-home support that effectively meets their individual needs, while promoting independence, wellness, lifestyle choices and quality of life.
**Duties**:
- Domestic duties
- Personal Care
- Social Support
- Wellness Support
- Transport to shopping and appointments
- Maintain accurate and legal records as required
- Participate in meetings and training
About You:
You are kind and caring with a 'can do' attitude and you have:
- Basic Computer and mobile device skills
- Excellent Interpersonal, Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Good Customer Service, Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Skills
- Great Time, Task and Priority Management
- Availability to work minimum 2 days/10 hrs per week - up to 38 hours
Essential Requirements:
- Cert III in Disability, Aged Care, Home Care or willing to obtain
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Current Drivers License
- Criminal Record Check (completed by UPA upon successful interview)
- Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Reliable vehicle (Registered with full Comprehensive Insurance)
