We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hire Fleet Manager to join our Canning Vale team.
The Hire Room sits at the hub of all our branches. As the Hire Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for building and nurturing solid client relationships by ensuring the maximization of our fleet and guiding, mentoring, and assisting our hire coordinators to reach their fullest potential.
This is an office‐based role, working Monday to Friday.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Manage all aspects of hire room operations to ensure an exceptional hire and transport experience.
* Provide prompt and accurate service for bookings and off‐hires.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
* Build team member skills through training and support.
* Liaise with relevant departments to ensure smooth processing of client requirements.
* Oversee scheduling, allocation, and billing of equipment to meet customer demands.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure equipment availability.
* Ensure all documentation is up‐to‐date and compliant with company standards.
* Provide support to the Sales Team when required.
The successful candidate will honor our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement. In addition, they will have:
* 12 months+ experience in Transport, Hire and Logistics.
* A motivated and hands‐on individual management experience in a similar position, preferably within the hire or capital equipment sales business.
* Strong leadership and people management skills combined with sound emotional intelligence.
* A flexible, hands‐on approach, with the ability to lead by example, focusing on the training and development of our teams.
* Proven customer relationship building and management experience.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and self‐motivation.
* Sound experience and knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook and other database or ideally hire based systems.
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast‐paced environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively under pressure.
* Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment.
* A friendly personality with a can‐do attitude.
* A strong commitment to OH&S.

Salary Range: $80k – $100k per annum
