Analyst - Investment Banking (Programming & AI)
You will be working for one of the most successful international Investment Banks operating across Australia. This role will predominantly face into the trading desk but also elements of Equity Research, and Corporate Finance. The role will be largely project focussed automating processes using AI, Python coding, and the scikit-learn package.
This is a role where attitude is key, I am looking for a self starter who can think outside the box and add to the introduction and development of AI within the firm.
The ideal candidate will probably be working for one of the database teams behind the client facing quants on the sell side of investment banking / investment management. Alternatively data vendors that face into investment banking etc.
If you have a proven track record of completing a project where you had to roll something out across an analyst team i.e. collecting and storing the data from their models, or rolling out some add-in or tool for the analysts to use that would be even better.
Skill Set:
* Computer Science background (most likely a degree in Computer Science)
* 1-4 years work experience
* DCF/3 Way modelling a bonus as a CFA for domain expertise in finance / investment banking
* Python Coding Experience
* Familiarity with the scikit-learn package / or FactSet Programming (FPR) - these packages have an AI assist that helps write code
