An exciting role mixed between Payroll and HR within the Education sector, located Northern suburbs.

A wonderful opportunity to enter the education sector within a school environment. This is private college in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, seeking a bubbly and professional individual to take ownership of the Payroll function and support the college with HR administration.
**Your new role**
This role reports to the Business Manager and responsible for:
- End to end Payroll processing of approx. 150 staff on a fortnightly run
- Answering pay and education award queries
- Award and Education EBA interpretation
- Payroll Tax and compliance, WorkCover, Superannuation
- Salary packaging maintenance liaising with externa provider
- Leave and entitlement calculations, managing leave records
- HR administration; employment contracts, compliance checks, recruitment and inductions, onboarding
- System and process improvement, potential implementation of new HR/Payroll software
**What you'll need to succeed**
- End to end payroll experience
- Understanding of awards and EBA's
- Any additional finance experience with journals, reconciliations and reports beneficial
- Current WWCC and Police check required for employment
- Team work, collegiality, integrity and professionalism
**What you'll get in return**
This role offers a level 4 salary range inline with the education support employee category of the award. Depending on experience and qualification between $86,438 - $98,457. This role is based full time in the office.
